Seasonal Security Officer:  The Old Forge Camping Resort is seeking a mature individual with a neat and professional appearance, even temperament and friendly demeanor to provide night security for a busy campground. Desired skills include the ability to communicate effectively and maintain order by tactfully dealing with individuals and groups. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check and expected to complete the basic security officer course and attain NYS Security Guard certification.   Position is full time July through Labor Day and weekends, as needed, for the rest of year. Experience in law enforcement or security a plus, but not required. To apply, send Letter of Interest and Qualifications to: Old Forge Camping Resort, PO Box 51, Old Forge, NY   13420. 

Shuttle Driver:  The Old Forge Camping Resort is seeking a person at least 21 years of age to drive a 66 passenger shuttle bus. We expect our drivers to be safety and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills. Applicants must have a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Summer Positions:

Grounds Technician - Summer Position. Our Grounds Technicians are responsible for cleaning sites, Cabins, and the exterior of Cottages, cutting grass and general maintenance of campground property. Our Grounds Technicians keep our campground looking spectacular. If you enjoy spending your work day in the sunshine and a fast paced environment, this is the position for you!  

Housekeeper - Summer Position. Our Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning bathrooms, showers, cottages and laundry facilities.  Housekeepers keep the "inside" of our facilities sparkling clean!  If you like keeping things neat and clean and working in a fast paced environment, this is the position for you!

Front Desk Clerk - Summer Position. Our Front Desk Clerks handle incoming calls, make reservations, register guests and provide guest services.  They are the first team members that guests come in contact with.  If you are a "people person" and enjoy an office environment, this is the position for you!
 

Retail Associate - Summer Position. Our Retail Associates are responsible for the Camp Store.  They operate the cash register, stock merchandise, maintain the coffee bar and handle rentals.  If you are a "people person" and enjoy retail operations, this is the position for you!
