Labor Day Weekend may be the ceremonial end of summer, but there is still a lot of Adirondack fun to be had in Old Forge! Take advantage of the three-day weekend by making a reservation at Water’s Edge Inn or Old Forge Camping Resort, both within walking distance to Enchanted Forest Water Safari, which will close for the season on Labor Day, Monday, September 7st 2026. After a day at the park enjoy the McCauley Mountain Scenic Chairlift Ride and the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, check out all the shops and restaurants in town or get out on the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
