Old Forge’s Winter Carnival will take place February 9th – 11th, 2024. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and get creative with themed floats and costumes.

Get ready for Winter Carnival this year! The snow’s falling, and we’re pumped for a snowy February. On Friday, February 9th, join us in town for shopping, dining at local restaurants, and skating at the ice rink on lower Joy Track.
On Saturday, February 10th, head to McCauley Mountain Ski Area opening at 9 am for Alpine and Nordic skiing. At 5 pm, enjoy live music by Doug Green in the chalet. Grab dinner specials at The Grill Room from 6 pm. The coronation of this year’s Royal King and Queen, Dale and Diane Heroux, is at 7 pm on Playmate Slope, followed by night skiing and a torchlight skiing show by the Town of Webb Schools Alpine Ski Team. The night ends with a fireworks display.
Sunday, February 11th, brings more family fun. The mountain opens at 9 am for Nordic and Alpine activities. At 1 pm, warm up with s’mores by open fire pits. Doug Green returns for live music at 2 pm in the Chalet. The Town of Webb Junior Class hosts cardboard sled races at 3 pm, with categories like fastest sled and most people in one sled—all made of cardboard!
